Nkhensani Mkhari's text 'What Was, What Is, What If' suggests the idea of destabilizing normative representational economies. Liminal spaces between representation and deconstruction are explored through eight artists that negotiate the phenomenological terrain of cultural production in their art, and see them manifest as aesthetics of interruption. Featured artists include Shaquille-Aaron Keith, Loyiso Mkhize, Ebenezer Samuel Akinola, Cathy Layzell, William Chechet, Lars Fischedick, Ayogu Kingsley and Anthony Lane.
